Willy's Bailout goes to New York

Willy has said many times that it would take very little to bail Willy out. If Willy got bailed out he would take his pay check and go buy a new GM car.

Well, Willy done figured out why you and Willy aint getting a bailout.

Our bailout is going to help fund DATE NIGHT IN NEW YORK CITY FOR YOUR PRESIDENT OBAMA.

Willy does not understand how President Obama can stand up on the Eve of GM going bankrupt and say to America - "I feel your pain" while the jet is warming up to go to New York City for Date night.

Willy - Mixed Up!

A few posts back Willy mentioned how Willy looked and sounded a lot like George Strait.

Well, what few readers Willy has mentioned that Willy might be a little confused about looking like George. Of course Willy has never posted a picture of his true self on this site - so how would they know. However................................

Willy might have been a little mixed up. What Willy meant to say was that he looked and sang like BoxCar Willie - who made most of his fame in the Blue Hair Capital of Country Music in Branson. Yea - maybe that is it - Willy may look like Boxcar Willy - Tell Willy Mirror is that true.

Mirror says I might look Like Boxcar Willy now - he died in 1999.

Willy and George Strait!

Willy always thought he looked and sounded a little like George Strait - Willy remembered this tonight as he watched everybody try to sing George's songs on TV.

Willy caught himself bobbing his head a time or two and singing along. Mrs Willy got up and two stepped across the floor - remembering days gone by when Willy and Mrs Willy would go out and scoot a boot etc.

Well, Willy is always brought back to earth by remembering just a few years when daughter - before she was married was at George Strait concert with Willy and mom. Daughter commented how swell George looked and what a hunk he was. Willy reminded daughter that George was just a year younger than Dad Willy.

Daughter still replied that Dad Willy don't look like George.

Dad Willy then handed daughter the binoculars and told her to check out the backside when he turned around.

Yes, Just like Willy - George had moved from the tight fitting wranglers to RELAX FIT - GO GEORGE - YOU THE MAN

Willy wants a Bailout!

It appears that all you have to do if you are an automaker is to cry uncle and Uncle Obama will come to the rescue. Ford originally took none of the money!

Now Ford wants some money to make investments to help the bottom line.

Willy thought about building a race car one time - never got it done.

President Obama can come over and see the engine still hanging in the tree in front of my double wide if he has any questions.

Mr. Obama - send Willy some bail out money.

Willy takes a head count!

Willy went down to the Possum Grit Bar and Cantina today and took a little poll of the participants in the Memorial Day Tribute.

Consensus came out that the bad thing about a long weekend is that it ends.

Weekend is over and Willy and the world goes back to work tomorrow.

Willy and Family salute all of our heroes. Those who are serving in any branch of the Military now, those that have served and especially those who have died preserving our rights.

Larry King and the Idols!

Willy thought he would get a little culture tonight and watch Larry King interview the Idols.

Willy is proud that the Main Idol - Kris Allen is from Arkansas.

Willy was a little disappointed that it was Ryan .... interviewing and talking to the Idols.

Willy was disappointed - Kris is the Idol - but it still all seems to be about Adam.

Can somebody find Rueben Stouddard for Willy? (Where did that come from?)

Kick Your self Willy!

One of those days - Yes Willy has them to. If it could go wrong it did go wrong.

Why do those come about? It starts first email of the morning which sets the mood for the day and it goes down from there.

Oh well! Willy's old daddy used to say - let it go! Step around behind the barn, kick yourself in the A** and get over it. Nobody cares but you!

Wow! Willy got his boot stuck in there when he kicked. Willy done forgot what it was about!

Hooked on Golf!

Willy guesses he is hooked on golf. Willy don't play golf that good but Willy watches the big guys on TV and Willy says - here is how Willy would have done that. Or Willy would have hit just like that.

Willy flipped between the tape delay of the Open in Ireland today where it was cold and rainy and the Valero Open in San Antonio where the weather was beautiful. Note - the weather was great on the couch where Willy reclined.

Willy enjoyed napping, and watching - both of which can be done fairly well during a five hour golf match.

Willy also enjoys a small nine hole course close by. There is one par three in particular - high tee box looking down on an island green. Willy likes to pretend it is number 17 at Sawgrass.

Willy tees it up. Willy swings and sure nough it is almost the perfect shot. If it had gone just about 10 feet to the right it would have been a 15 foot put for a birdie.

However it is hard to hit the ball from 10 ft deep in the water. Maybe next time.

Nothing Sacred

Willy says there ain't nothing sacred anymore. Women seem to rule the world.

The guys can't even win at the "Kings Sport' of horse raising.

Guess we will have a women President next. Come to think of it we tried that and she came in Second. Not sure if that was good or bad.

Willy Rests?

Work had gotten Willy down and Willy decided he needed a day off to rest and get straight about his work.

Willy took Friday off. Willy played 9 holes of golf! Willy mowed the lawn! Willy went shopping with Mrs Willy and her mother. Willy went clothes shopping with Mrs Willy - she bought - Willy bought!

Willy blogs! Willy rested?

A day not at the paid job is always a relief for Willy - regardless of what else goes on!

Who Stole Willy's Money!

Sometimes Willy runs into a simple statement that seems funny but when Willy really thinks about it there is much truth to the statement. The following is one that Willy read today that fits.
Congress says they are looking into this Bernard Madoff scandal.

Hey, great idea ... the guy who made $50 billion disappear is being investigated by the people who made $750 billion disappear.

Willy Wants to be at Kissimmee!

Kissimmee sounds almost to Willy like he is asking someone to kiss Willy. Well, that is ok with Willy because going there is almost as wonderful as saying to my lovely wife - Kiss Me!

The only thing for Willy to decide is will Willy just hang out and cool off at one of Kissmmee’s awesome water parks? Or would Willy rather just visit a world-famous theme park?

However, the redneck may come out in Willy and he may just want to just get out in nature and see the great outdoors. Buy wait Willy has always wanted to go on an airboat ride. Yes, that would be Willy's dream. Willy on an airboat has to be awesome.

That's what could be so good about a Kissimmee vacation... Willy can visit the big theme parks enjoy the marvels of native Florida have the friendliness of a small town, and even ride an airboat.

Willy is planning now - Kissimmee vacation - great idea.

President Laughs at Sick humor!

Two quick facts:

1. Willy has a sense of humor
2. Willy is not a Rush Limbaugh fan.

Now that willy has that out of the way - Willy believes that the President should not laugh quite so hard when a black so called comedian states a death wish on Rush Limbaugh.

Willy goes back to the fact in an earlier post - in tough economic times Willy wishes the President would try a little harder to stimulate the economy rather than to be a great humorist.

It should be known that the number of jobs being created is not near enough to offset the jobs that are being lost. - Unemployment is expected to go up for another 12 - 18 months.

It should be known that 50 cents of every dollar that the Obama administration is spending is borrowed money.

It should be known that at this rate of spending and the lack of stimulus that it is producing will eventually make the Obama administration far outweigh the Bush administration it its disaster to the economy.

It should be known that if white people made black jokes at a White House function that they would be in deep trouble. Black people make jokes about white people and the President laughs!

Willy thinks that this Administration is too much trying to be a part of the Hollywood scene.

Thought - If all of the money that has been thrown after Wall Street - Fanny Mae, Freddie Mac, detroit and every where else - If 1 million was given to each individual family over 50 who paid taxes last year and they were told to retire - buy a car and pay off their house - Jobs would be created, mortgage companies would have money to lend and clean up their debts, detroit would be back in business and----------

Willy would have a new car, retire, have no debt and spend money like crazy to enhance the economy. Can the President get that done by continuing to throw money into the street.

Willy and the American Idol

Willy thought that maybe he was an American Idol. But all Willy can say after tonights American Idol show is way to go Kris Allen.

Kris is from Arkansas and now he gets to come home to have a big parade and a mini concert Friday. Quick plans have to happen but they can do it.

Willy wonders if they will want to see Willy while they are here?

Willy is encouraging his followers - both of them to vote for Kris this next week.

Willy has an Overseas Loophole for the President!

President Obama recently announced that he wanted to work on taking away overseas loopholes for American Tax payers.

Well, Willy don't know about those loopholes but Willy does know of a loophole or two overseas that the President could fix and would please Willy.

Willy and tech support from Tiawan or somewhere that does not speak good English is a real deal.

Willy don't talk the best English himself and when Willy gets to needing some help and calls tech support or credit card support or just about any kind of support and gets someone that says that they are sitting in downtown Hong Kong or somewhere just really makes Willy mad. That is if Willy can understand where they said they were sitting.

Willy has gotten to where he asks the person on the line - where are you - they usually come back and state who they work for. Willy then says - tell Willy what town you see if you look out the Window.

Many companies will not even allow them to tell.

May 5th - Willy Celebrates!

Happy Cinco De Mayo - ca paso and coma sta amigo (spelling?)

Willy believes in celebrating it all. Juanita is having a special day down at the Possum Grit bar and Cantina tomorrow and wants to welcome all of her Spanish ancestors and everyone else that wants to come down and celebrate.

Sammy Bob Sanchez will be there strumming his guitar along with everyone else.

Willy says come on down. Maybe tomorrow evening we will discuss the experience.

Willy's Thoughts on Government!

Willy has several things to say about the current government status:

Recognize that government invasion of public power is eventually an assault upon your own business.

But the truth is that outside of its legitimate function, government does nothing as well or as economically as the private sector.

The Founding Fathers knew a government can't control the economy without controlling people. And they knew when a government sets out to do that, it must use force and coercion to achieve its purpose. So we have come to a time for choosing.

Government is the people's business and every man, woman and child becomes a shareholder with the first penny of tax paid.

We who live in free market societies believe that growth, prosperity and ultimately human fulfillment, are created from the bottom up, not the government down.


If some among you fear taking a stand because you are afraid of reprisals from customers, clients, or even government, recognize that you are just feeding the crocodile hoping he'll eat you last.
